Document Quality Assurance Specialist

Lingo Systems has an opening for a part-time (30 hours/week) Quality Assurance Specialist. Primary task is the visual review of translated documents for layout verification and consistency. Candidate must be very detail-oriented, accurate and well-organized; he/she should be able to work well independently under the guidance of a team lead, and to balance precise work with sensitive timelines. Experience with editing and proofreading preferred. Familiarity with foreign languages (especially Asian) is helpful. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is also a plus.

Project Manager

Lingo Systems has an opening for a full-time Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating resources for the timely and accurate completion of projects. This includes managing linguistic resources, leading internal teams, creating and maintaining scheduled reports, and interacting with clients during projects. Focus is on delivering projects on-time, on-budget and with the highest level of quality.

Requirements for this position include:

• Familiarity with both Mac OS and Windows operating systems and software including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project.
• Thorough knowledge of project management fundamentals as they apply to the localization industry.
• Demonstrated organizational, time management, prioritization, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be very resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
• Preference given to candidates with foreign language skills and localization industry experience.
